The Programming
Participants will join a five-week virtual accelerator program (Sept 30 - Oct 28), including:
5 weekly Assemblies on Tuesdays from 3:30 - 5:00pm ET: virtual 90-minute sessions featuring training experts, coaches, and peers from the social impact sector
Workshops including:
The Psychology of Managing Up: Building Stronger Relationships Between #1s and #2s
The Art of Managing & Delegating Well (ft. Shanti Nayak)
Getting Intentional about Org-Wide Decision Making
Weekly small-group executive coaching from veteran #2s, including Robbie Ross, Sarah Stern, and more
Access to program-specific Slack channel within Cultivate Community for ongoing, real-time troubleshooting of any people-ops challenges that emerge during this window
The Criteria
Participants are the right fit if they:
Work at a organization that operates in the social impact sector
Oversee internal organization culture through “#2” roles like Chief of Staff, Managing Director, Chief Operating Officer, Head of People & Culture, Deputy Director, or other equivalent positions
Can commit to attending programming for five weeks, dedicating a total of 2 hours per week of meeting time & outside prep work
Have a lasting & demonstrable commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
